A 14-year ASAP veteran, Diana served as the company’s director of marketing before becoming vice president of operations in 2017. As CEO, she will be responsible for growth, corporate management, outreach and resource allocation.

Richard Betts, the founder of ASAP and former CEO will become board chair, while Mark Betts, who was serving as the company’s Senior Vice President will be vice chair. With these key shifts in leadership, Richard will focus on community leadership and philanthropic efforts, and Mark will steward the company’s long-range planning and visionary leadership.

“Our goal has always been to grow ASAP beyond the two of us. The executive team, which includes Diana’s immeasurable leadership, has invested considerable energy into clarifying our corporate vision to ensure it reflects the values we’ve shaped over the past 30 years. Diana’s abilities will serve ASAP well as we embark on our journey forward.”

Diana’s promotion to CEO is a natural evolution of the company’s encompassing vision, assuring stability and continuity. With offices in the Colorado communities of Durango, Telluride, and Golden, ASAP has plans to expand the size and scope of its business through the hiring of additional professionals who live and work in the communities they serve.

We’re proud of the role ASAP has played in our communities and in our clients’ successes. I look forward to further building the company through strategic alliances and by embracing solutions that bring efficiency and innovation to our clients. With this leadership shift, ASAP will continue to find ways to add value to each process and improve the client experience. This is just the beginning.”

Diana, CEODiana, ASAP CEO

Diana was instrumental in transforming ASAP from a small-town Telluride company to a statewide leader serving businesses throughout Colorado and beyond. As director of marketing, she led efforts to expand ASAP into the Roaring Fork Valley and Denver a decade ago. As VP of operations, she was integral in adopting innovative processes, enhancing efficiencies, and in hiring and retaining top talent.

Since relocating to Durango in 2012, Diana, a champion of community-building, has quickly become a main street mainstay through her service with a variety of nonprofit organizations, which includes past president of the Durango Chamber of Commerce and past board president of Riverhouse Children’s Center. Currently, she is a member of the Business Advisory Council for Fort Lewis College School of Business Administration.

The CEO role is ideal for Diana. She embraces ASAP’s mission, and applies her intellect, energy and enthusiasm to aid the success of our clients. ASAP makes a point of elevating team members to shine in their unique talents and progress toward their career goals. There is room for everyone to grow in our expanding company!
