Employment Law Update
Presented by Michael C. Santo, Co-founder and Managing Attorney, Bechtel Santo & Severn
This year, Colorado legislature introduced a number of employment bills that will surely impact HR for businesses of all sizes. Further, both Federal and State agencies and courts continue to reshape previously enacted labor laws. We’ll cover some of the highlights as it relates to the Equal Pay Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the National Labor Relations Act. In addition, we’ll touch on some hot topics in HR including use-it-or-lose it vacation leave policies, common wage and hour mistakes, and compensation best practices.
