When Todd Brown is not busy with his role as Councilmember for the Telluride Town Council or teaching alpine ski lessons at Telluride Ski Resort, he serves as a Business Coach for ASAP. Todd provides business planning, process improvement, HR assistance, technology adaptation, and other strategic planning for ASAP’s customers.
It’s not every day that you can get business coaching from someone with Todd’s breadth of experience. Todd worked as President, Worldwide Refrigerated Dough group for Sara Lee Bakery Group, Vice President of Sara Lee’s European Operations, as well as President of two start-ups, Biota and UniquePak. In addition to his role on Town Council where he serves as Town Liaison on the Watershed Commission and EcoAction Partners, Todd is very involved in the community and serves as a Board Member for Telluride Historical Museum, Telluride Theatre and the Telluride Arts District, among others. Todd graduated from Colorado School of Mines, and Olin School of Business at Washington University in St Louis, Missouri.
Todd loves to solve business problems. He subscribes to the ‘5 Whys’ as a means to getting to the root cause of problems, a technique he learned as an administrative assistant to a Vice-President of Anheuser-Busch.
Todd was born in Chicago, Illinois but grew up in Colorado where he fell in love with the mountain lifestyle of skiing, hiking and enjoying the great outdoors. Todd is secretly a ham. If you engage him in a pun-off, he will relentlessly drop terrible puns in your conversations forevermore. He loves theatre and will dress in costume any chance he gets. Get him to show some of the pictures – they are solid gold comedy.
