NEW I-9 Form Released

*effective May 8, 2013* – The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has published a revised Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification (03/08/13). The last date you can use the I-9 that expired is May 7th.

DOWNLOAD NEW FORM I-9 and review instructions on how to complete the new form. Federal law requires that every employer hiring an individual for employment must complete a Form I-9.

E-Verify

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security offers an Internet-based system, E-Verify, that allows businesses to determine the eligibility of their new employees to work in the United States. Usage of E-Verify Program has been made mandatory within a number of states, however currently it is not mandatory in Colorado.
